Each month, I try to highlight some of what the members of Pax Christi USA are doing to create a world which is more just, peaceful and sustainable in our monthly website feature On The Line. Especially during this season of Advent, I find it both inspirational and comforting to see all of the ways people are working to bring the peace of Christ to their communities. More information on this month's edition of On The Line is below...

  • Which special peace prize is Pax Christi International Co-President Marie Dennis up for? And how can you help her candidacy for the award by voting by tomorrow at noon?
  • Which Pax Christi local group co-hosted a benefit concert for the people of Gaza?
  • Who is the new coordinator of Pax Christi Southern California?
Which Pax Christi regional leader (shown here) was interviewed extensively in a recent edition of NCR?

What did Sr. Patty Chappell, Executive Director of Pax Christi USA, have to say to Catholic News Service about the recently released torture report? Which Pax Christi local group rallied citizens on behalf of the homeless and the rights of churches to feed homeless people? Which college chapter of Pax Christi observed the anniversary of the Salvadoran Jesuit martyrs this November?

It's all in On The Line!

In Christ's peace,

Johnny Zokovitch

Director of Communications, Pax Christi USA
