Candle reflectionAs I started to put together this e-Update, highlighting all of the various aspects of our work over the past month or so, I was thinking about the reflection we posted yesterday for Epiphany Sunday. Pax Christi USA Ambassador of Peace and former National Coordinator Nancy Small writes:

"We are part of the Christian tradition which has kept the light of prophetic faith alive for over 2,000 years. Like the disciples before us, the light that shines in each of us isn't perfect. It is incomplete. At times it feels dim. At other times, we try to hide it. And yet, when joined with the light of others, we become part of a holy constellation, reaching out to dispel hatred, fear and violence.

As the new year starts, I can't help but be grateful for being a part of this movement, working alongside so many extraordinary witnesses to the peace of Christ in our world. We hope you'll take a moment today and renew your membership in Pax Christi USA by clicking here, or if you've not been a member but want to add your light this year to the light of thousands of us who believe in working for peace with justice, we hope you'll become a new member by clicking here. It's easy, quick and secure and we hope you'll start off this new year by joining your light to ours and becoming a part of this holy constellation!

If you want to get a glimpse of what it means to be a part of Pax Christi USA, we've assembled a short slideshow of photos from throughout the 2013 year. Click here to see the slideshow now.

Below is the e-Update for January 2014, a recap of all of the items you may have missed but which are still relevant from the past month or so. We hope you'll take a few moments today or later this week to review them and use them as you see fit.
