,
In just a few short weeks, the season of Advent will be upon us. If you have not already had the opportunity to do so, we encourage you to get your orders in for this year's Advent reflection booklet, Unshakeable Belief: Advent 2013. And shortly before the first Sunday of Advent, we'll introduce our Advent 2013 webpage with resources for you, your family, your faith community and your local group to use throughout the season for prayer, study and action. You can see last year's page by clicking here to get an idea of what will be available.
Also, if you're going to the School of the Americas this month, please plan to join us on Friday evening, beginning at 5:30pm in Ballroom A of the Columbus Convention Center for our annual program. This year's program is entitled, "Gun Violence Has No Room in the Spirituality of Peacemaking," and will feature presentations by PCUSA Teacher of Peace Kathy Kelly and PCUSA Executive Director Sr. Patty Chappell, SNDdeN. We'll also have prayer and music (by Joe Jencks!) and items from the Pax Christi USA store will be on sale.
Below is the e-Update for November 2013, a recap of all of the items you may have missed but which are still relevant from the past month or so. We hope you'll take a few moments today or later this week to review them and use them as you see fit.
