We want to call your attention to two important announcements. Earlier today, Pax Christi International released a statement on Syria. Pax Christi USA was able to include input for the statement and we hope you'll use it and the points it makes in your efforts locally to mobilize people and sway public opinion in resisting military intervention in Syria.

Secondly, as a follow-up to this past weekend's "A Catholic Conversation on Race, Religion & the March on Washington," an event co-hosted by Pax Christi USA, we have joined with Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good and Catholic Democrats in calling for a "national conversation on racial justice."
