Greetings!,

Day Two of the 2013 national conference began with our second keynote presentation from Pax Christi USA young adults Adrienne Alexander and Patrick Cashio, who spoke of "Living the Present with Enthusiasm" and shared insights into today's younger generation and how Pax Christi USA might do a better job of reaching out and supporting students and young adults in their twenties and thirties. Following the plenary session, workshops on drone warfare, human trafficking, the death penalty, the environment, immigration, anti-racism, Dorothy Day and more were offered. The day concluded with a trip to the MLK Center where we held a prayer vigil in the plaza, recalling the words of Martin Luther King, Jr. and pledging ourselves anew as disciples of nonviolence.

Sr. Patty Chappell, SNDdeN and Sr. Anne-Louise Nadeau, SNDdeN lead Pax Christi USA members in a prayer vigil at the King Center.

I've added a few more items to the website from Friday, as well as audio files of Saturday's plenary presentation and photos from throughout the day.
