Pax Christi USA is happy to announce that Atlanta, Georgia has been chosen as the site for the 2013 National Conference to be held June 14-16, 2013.

After originally planning to hold the conference in Washington, D.C., Pax Christi USA national leadership decided to move the conference to Atlanta following concerns regarding labor justice at the hotel where the conference was scheduled to be held in D.C. Responding to hotel workers' request for people of conscience to boycott Hyatt Hotels, Pax Christi USA made the decision to seek other venues in Washington, D.C., Baltimore, St. Louis and Atlanta. The Sheraton Gateway Hotel at the Atlanta Airport was able to accommodate us for our original dates and provide all necessary accommodations. We're excited to be heading to Atlanta, birthplace of one of our nation's greatest nonviolent heroes, Martin Luther King, Jr.

In Christ's peace,
