National Human Services Assembly Executive Leadership Certificate Program 
January 12 - July 13, 2017 | Indianapolis, Phoenix and online



Executive Education at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs, IUPUI is offering a six-month-long program that will prepare current and future CEOs/EDs to lead organizations in the ever-changing environment in which human service organizations function. Offered in partnership with Arizona State University Lodestar Center of Philanthropy & Nonprofit Innovation and the National Human Services Assembly, the NHSA Executive Leadership Certificate Program includes six courses - two in-person sessions and four remote sessions.

Classes are designed to build knowledge of new or developing fields, increase existing skills and expertise, and allow professionals to explore new skills and career opportunities. Many of the classes and programs lead to certificates and continuing education credits (CEUs) for professionals. 

 
Please note, if you are currently registered in an upcoming course, your profile and registration will be transferred. If you are not currently registered in a course, you will be prompted to create a student profile prior to registering for classes. A new student profile will need to be created even if you have previously been involved in Continuing Education courses. Feel free to contact us with questions or if you need assistance.

Instructor's Bio 
Dr. Paul Yearling is Associate Chair of the Department of Engineering and Technology, and Clinical Assistant Professor and Program Director of Mechanical Engineering Technology for the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, IUPUI. Dr. Yearling has over 20 years of industrial experience including as a fully indentured craftsman machinist in a Royal Naval Dockyard. In addition he spent 5 years as a Design Draftsman and project manager on Leander class Steam Turbine Naval frigates and submarines. Most recent experience includes 5 years as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt process improvement facilitator and 6 years as a Research and Development Engineer, troubleshooting process issues in the Paper and Converting Industry. Dr. Yearling has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Minor in Applied Mathematics, as well as a Professional Engineer License and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

The Indiana University Kelley School of Business Indianapolis is looking for central Indiana companies to partner with undergraduate-student teams for its renowned Integrative Core (I-Core) Program. I-Core is open to any Central Indiana for-profit organization.



I-Core is a distinguishing component of Kelley's bachelor's degree program. Junior-level students take a set of four integrated classes-marketing, finance, supply chain management and team dynamics and leadership-during a single semester. Kelley students say I-Core is one of the most meaningful experiences of their Kelley careers-a rite of passage to understanding the business world and the value of teamwork.

Help your business to become more energy efficient with the Industrial Assessment Center at IUPUI 
Invest in your Business. Invest in our Students.
 
 
The Industrial Assessment Center at IUPUI focuses on giving businesses a way to become more energy efficient, and training and utilizing IUPUI students to become the next generation of energy efficiency experts. Due to a grant from the Department of Energy, the center provides energy audits to businesses for free. This service is provided in hope that it will help make Indiana a clean, energy efficient state! Engineering students are trained to be certified as energy auditors. Students learn and grow directly in the field with the expertise of certified professors, who lead the audit. With a free audit, businesses can save about $10,000 in audit cost and on average 15% yearly energy savings. Through this service, not only will businesses benefit, but future young professionals of America are provided with knowledge and experience.
