Lord Allen is perhaps most well known from his time as CEO of ITV, Chairman of Granada Media, Executive Chairman of EMI, as a member of LOCOG successfully winning the 2012 Olympic Games and as Mayor of the Olympic Village during the Games.
Amongst other roles, Lord Allen is also Senior Advisor to Goldman Sachs, was appointed CBE in 2003, knighted in 2012 and became a Labour peer in 2013.
