I found my smile @MYWPL.org

This month we spoke with Mary a patron of the Talking Book Library. Mary has been legally blind her entire life. She has always been an avid reader, and regularly visited the Frances Perkins Branch as a child. She was able to read large print books as well as regular print books using a magnifying glass. As her vision continued to deteriorate, even these methods began to fail.

By chance her mother was at the Main Branch and stumbled across the Talking Book Library in 1992. Mary quickly became a regular patron, and has been able to continue enjoying books for the last 24 years thanks to the resources available at the Talking Book Library.

Also, mark your calendars for Saturday, April 2 for our Local Author Fair.
