Spencer Yancey '32 will be 105 years old on February 2, 2015. Better still, he remains happy and active. He and a friend recently won first place in a bridge tournament that had been running for three months at his place of residence. Presidential Inauguration of Dr. Kelly M. Thompson

Join us at 10:30 a.m. in the Robert W. Brown Performing Arts Center for the Inauguration of President Kelly M. Thompson with special guest Reverend Dr. Sharon E. Watkins, General Minister and President of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Following the inauguration alumni and friends are invited to a reception in The Lab, located in the Johann Memorial Library. After the reception, there will be some concurrent academic sessions held on campus for individuals to attend. For more details go to culver.edu/inauguration. |

Join us for the 2015 C-SC Athletic Golf Classic! This event brings our alumni, community and fans together to celebrate Culver-Stockton College Athletics. Join us in celebrating our success over the past year and in honoring several athletes who have made a difference at C-SC. The Golf Classic will be followed by the Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet.

Wanted Alumni Summer Weekend Instructors
Looking for fun & talented individuals willing to teach
It is that time of year again! We are preparing for the Second Annual Alumni Summer Weekend, June 12-14, 2015.
If you have a talent, hobby or skill set you would like to share in a one-hour class, contact Jennifer Sousa at jsousa@culver.edu no later than January 30 with your class suggestions. If selected as an instructor, we will waive your registration fees for the weekend.
Examples of areas of interest for classes are specialty cooking, jewelry making, wine making/tasting, Pinterest, essential oils, gardening/landscaping and more.........

Mabee Health & Wellness Center
Construction Continues....
| | Construction on the Mabee Recreation and Wellness Center continues to move right along. The concrete has been poured for the footings and we continue to see progress. Paving of the road down to the facility and the parking lot is planned for this summer. The Center is targeted to be done in the fall of 2015. |

W.A. Herington Center
Building to be Completed by Spring 2015
The Herington Center continues to maintain its momentum. Interior improvements are well underway, and will continue for the next couple months with tasks such as insulation, lighting, plumbing for locker rooms and the building of athletic offices. This project is still set to be completed by spring of 2015.

The Alumni board and Bailey's Coffee and Fudge are partnering again this year to offer you the chance to purchase a Valentine basket for your favorite student, faculty or staff member
on campus.
The cost of the package is $15 and includes a variety of sweets sure to please your Valentine. To order a package, please fill out this order form and email or fax it back to the Alumni Office at potte@culver.edu or (573) 288-6457 by 5 p.m., Friday, February 6th.
No orders will be accepted after the Feb. 6 deadline.

C-SC at MMEA

Make sure to stop by the Culver-Stockton College booth at MMEA this year! We would like to hear from all of our alumni and share the College's great news.
A reception is planned for Friday, Jan. 30, from 5-7 p.m. at a condo in the Tan-Tar-A
Resort. Stop by the booth to get the address and directions to the event. Refreshments and appetizers will be served, along with some fun give-a-ways. C-SC has eight students singing in the choral ensemble later in the evening.

C-SC to hold Disciples of Christ Youth Leadership Retreat
April 24-26, 2015
|

Where: Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo.
Who: All high school students
Cost: $35 by April 1, $50 after April 1
(Cost includes all conference fees, lodging, and meals.
Students will be lodged at the Centerstone Inn in Canton, Mo.)
Rev. Dr. Sharon Watkins, General Minister and President of the Christian Church will speak Friday evening at 8 p.m. to kick off the weekend retreat. If you have additional questions please contact C-SC Campus Chaplain Amanda Sorenson at (800) 537-1883 or asorenson@culver.edu.
The retreat is being held in partnership with the Country Club Christian Church in Kansas City, Mo.
