Record Freshman Class Helps Community
August 22, 2014

To welcome students to campus for the start of the fall semester, Culver-Stockton College planned the sixth annual Extreme Dome Makeover (EDM), held Saturday, Aug. 23. All incoming students and FYE faculty participated, as well as a number of returning students. This year's incoming class is the largest new class in over 15 years, resulting in the highest number of participants ever for EDM.

The event began at 10 a.m., when all of the 550 volunteers followed a fire truck escort from the Culver-Stockton campus down the concourse to the 16 community improvement sites.

"At Culver-Stockton College, we believe service learning is an incredibly important part of our students' education," said Amanda Sorenson, C-SC's Chaplain and coordinator of the event. "We emphasize just how important it is by dedicating their very first morning on campus to this project."

August 9, 2014
Thank you to the alumni, friends, and students that took part in the Annual Alumni & Friends Day of Service.  We were able to move 22 tons of rock around the Chi Omega House and Sigma Sigma Sigma House
in garden areas on campus.  We also were able to get the Paw Prints painted through the main part of campus. What a great start to a new year!

Mentoring Program
CatsDid you know C-SC has a mentoring program?  The mission of the Professional C.A.T.S. (Culver-Stockton Alumni Transitioning Students) Mentoring Program is to pair students and recent graduates with business professionals who will contribute to their career success through personal relationships. The mentorship program is one of the most rewarding ways C-SC alumni can stay involved.

Our next launch is in September 2015.
If you are interested in participating, submit an application.  Partnerships can be assigned throughout the year, but only by a need basis.  We will keep your application on file for the 2015 session.  The yearly deadline to apply for the program is Aug. 25.

C-SC Partners With PCI
Be Ready to Update Your Alumni Record
Culver-Stockton aims to keep our alumni connected with the College and each other. To best achieve this goal, C-SC has partnered with Publishing Concepts (PCI) to create a new alumni directory and help alumni update email, phone numbers and other pertinent contact information.

You should be receiving emails, postcards and phone calls from PCI requesting your updated information. We encourage a response from you. Once the necessary data is collected, PCI will compile it and create a new alumni directory available for purchase.
