Interviewed in his office on November 12th, the Mayor shares highlights of his recent mission to Israel organized by JEWISHcolorado and featuring a delegation of civic and community leaders. It was the Mayor's first trip to the Jewish state.
"I walked away [from Israel] with a profound, renewed respect for the Jewish faith and the Jewish community," Mayor Hancock says.
The Mayor's trip, which used no taxpayer funds, allowed him to focus on innovative Israeli practices in the areas of education, immigration, human services and community building.
