This Week (9/9): Along with wealth expert and KNUS 710 AM radio show host David Biondo, we speak with Ken Simon, co-owner of Bonnie Brae Ice Cream

Simon tells us about the history of his store and his decision to sell kosher premium ice cream. We also have in studio legendary rock 'n' roll concert promoter Barry Fey who speaks with students from the Denver Academy of Torah High School about his Jewish upbringing and the rock n' roll industry. Still like that old time rock 'n' roll - that kind of music just soothes the soul...

Last Week (9/2): Hut, Hut, HIKE!!! As the football season starts, with former Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow now with the NY Jets, Radio Chavura had the opportunity to talk to Robert Bernton, CFO of, about the worldwide phenomenon started by Denver Jewish Day School graduate Jared Kleinstein

Rob, who attended DJDS with Jared, told us the story behind the phenomenon, and what the upcoming football season will mean for business.

But first, we heard from the founder of The Kosher Express - an OU-certified Glatt Kosher meat delivery service that was started in 2010. In keeping with Jewish tradition and values, The Kosher Express donates a portion of all its proceeds to Jewish day schools, and other participating institutions. The twist? The Kosher Express was started by... Rob Bernton! Talk about a Jewish business worth supporting!

We also spoke with Georgina Kolber, curator at the Mizel Museum. Georgina told us about the Mizel Museum's current exhibit - 4,000 Year Road Trip: Gathering Sparks, which takes visitors on a journey through Jewish history. She also let us know about upcoming museum events, including their October trip to Israel, which will focus on the art and cultural sites of the Holy Land.

Next Week (9/16): Special Rosh Hashanah Eve Pre-Recorded Edition

Brigitte Gabriel
Brigitte Gabriel

As a young girl growing up in Lebanon, Brigitte Gabriel saw first hand what life was like living under the brutality of radical Islam. Now living in the United States, Brigitte travels the globe lecturing about the dangers facing us in the western world if we don't confront the worldwide Jihadist movement.

Following a recent visit to Denver, Radio Chavura had an opportunity to speak with Gabriel - who is also the founder of ACT! for America - about what the outcome of the November election will mean for Jews and gentiles living at home and abroad.

The full interview with Gabriel will be available from after it is broadcast.
