JULY 22: Remembering Victims of the Shoah

 Six million victims. Who were they? That is the central question that The Yizkor Project has been addressing since it was founded in January 2010 by Denver's Tami Ellison.
Roughly 1.9 million of the 6 million Jews exterminated by the Nazis remain unidentified. A  major goal of The Yizkor Project (TYP) is to give names to those who were murdered. TYP also strives to provide support to the dwindling group of survivors and to the righteous gentiles who risked their lives to save their Jewish neighbors.

A Jewish Gem: East Side Kosher Deli

Ayelet's Tzedakah Drive on Behalf of Colorado's Wildfire Families

 4 1/2-year-old Ayelet Lev joins us to encourage listeners to support her project - Ayelet's Tzedakah Drive - aimed at raising funds for the benefit of children who lost toys and other property in the recent Colorado wildfires. Ayelet first came up with the concept at Camp Maayan, and shared it with 60 fellow campers and counselors. Donations benefit the American Red Cross.
