Koran By Heart at Hudson County Community College
On April 18th, RSA students from grades 7th-11th attended a documentary at HCCC on Muslim children from all over the world competing in Quran memorization. This documentary depicted the endless abilities of children in Quran memorization, even though some were unable to read Arabic or understand it. Our goal was to illustrate to RSA students that Quran memorization can be more successful when they start at a younger age.
A Night For Palestine: Islamic Relief Event
On April 19th, RSA girls joined a group of girls who came from Gaza in a Palestinian traditional nasheed. Their contribution in this event helped in making the night a great success for Islamic Relief. Special thanks to Br. Yousef Al-Omari for training the girls for the nasheed.
RSA Panthers Joined the Muslim Youth Basketball Tournament
Through the Muslim Youth Basketball tournament, RSA High school boys completed a series of basketball games with different Islamic Schools and Islamic Youth teams. We are proud that our players were able to interact with Muslim youth from different regions in New Jersey, and thus enrich their brotherhood bonds with their fellow Muslims. A special thanks goes to Br. Abraham for his great coaching and support for the team.

Little Panthers Basketball League
RSA has completed try-outs for their two new teams, The Little Panthers (1st-3rd grades), and The Junior Panthers (4th-6th grades). They have already gotten down to business practicing for their upcoming recreational game with Al-Ghazaly Elementary this upcoming Saturday, May 4th. Insha Allah, they have a great time representing RSA.

3rd Marking Period Open House and Principal's Brunch
Alhamdulilah, we have reached the end of our third marking period this year. RSA welcomed all parents to our Open House on April 25th. It turned out to be a successful day where parents and teachers were able to meet and discuss their children's academic progress.
Today, May 1st, we conducted our third Principal's Brunch for this school year to recognize and celebrate our students' success. Students were awarded with their certificates and red roses to present to their mothers as a form of appreciation. It was a wonderful celebration. Thanks to all those parents who took time out of their busy schedules to join us in this joyous occasion.
RSA Spring Carnival
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, RSA had to reschedule their Spring Carnival. InshaAllah, the new date will be announced shortly. We thank everyone for their understanding, and look forward to a fun entertaining event soon, inshaAllah.

We Want Your Feedback!!
RSA will soon be issuing this year's parents survey to get our parents' feedback on the Academy's environment, academics and administration. This survey is extremely important for the future of the school. We look forward to hearing both positive and constructive feedback. Please stay tuned for a link to the survey soon, Insha'Allah.
