Wallenberg: Teaching & Learning Highlight

In April Andrew Schroeder led a staff-wide PD at Wallenberg exploring how disabilities affect student learning from the perspective of the student.  It was one PD of an ongoing series to help demystify special education and empower all teachers to support diverse learners.  Andrew's workshop was an excellent demonstration of supporting students in the Least Restrictive Environment.

Access & Equity for students with Visual Impairments Video
Technology is a great equalizer when it comes to students with disabilities. This is nowhere more evident than for students with visual impairments. iPads built in accessibility features allow students access like never before. Talented students in San Francisco Unified Schools are a great example of how technology can enhance learning. Click on the link below to check out our NEW! Video.
