We hope you and your loved ones had a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday!

This year Outdoor Lab has a lot to be thankful for. We are incredibly grateful for YOU, our supporters. Without passionate people supporting our work, Outdoor Lab would not be what it is today. This unique program has been putting smiles on the faces of young adventurers for 58+ years, and has gone through many wonderful transformations over the years- all thanks to a generous and engaged community.

We would like to welcome our new Events Coordinator, Stephanie Ferguson, who will help plan many of our future events! She brings a lot of experience to the table. We are incredibly excited to start out the new year with a new teammate to help Outdoor Lab continue to thrive!

Finally, as we approach Tuesday, December 9- Colorado Gives Day, we hope that you'll remember that it is only because the support and generosity of this community that Outdoor Lab is where it is today.

On Monday, December 8th, our Executive Director, Shannon Hancock will be speaking at the "Colorado Gives Day- Rally at the Capitol" televised event. The Outdoor Lab Foundation was the only non-profit (out of 1,600+ others) to be selected for this exclusive honor. Other guest speakers include Governor John Hickenlooper and Firstbank.

Please join Colorado on the biggest single day of giving and help us give the program what it needs!

Colorado Gives Day is almost here! On Tuesday, December 9th join the entire state of Colorado and donate to your favorite non-profit! This is a one day set aside to "Give Where You Live" in an effort to support Colorado based non-profits. Mark your calendars for December 9th and help us celebrate the end of another year with a contribution of any amount!

Last year we made just shy of $30,000 during this initiative, and this year our goal is to break $35,000! The funds from this campaign are absolutely crucial to the continued existence of this 58+ year old Outdoor Lab program.

You do NOT need to wait until Dec. 9th to donate... pre-schedule a donation and have it count towards our CO Gives Day campaign drive! Just click on the button below and select "Co Gives Day" under donation type. Each dollar donated will be proportionally increased by First Bank's $1,000,000 incentive fund so your donation will go further than ever before!

Lab Cards Program

What is the Lab Cards Program?

King Soopers and Safeway have partnered with the Outdoor Lab Foundation to make sure Outdoor Lab continues to survive and thrive through our Lab Cards Program! You can even choose where your funds go: the Foundation's general fund account, a specific school or a specific student.

How does the Lab Cards Program work?

After you order and receive your lab card from the Foundation you'll load it with funds at the store. Then, simply use the card just like cash when making purchases. Cards can be used and reloaded indefinitely! If you are using a "Student Fee" card, King Soopers and Safeway will credit your Outdoor Lab tuition account with 4.5% of your card loads with no additional cost to you! You can also purchase a "General Fund" card where the 4.5% will go towards the Outdoor Lab Foundation's General Fun account to help the program continue for future generations.

**Parents: Please Read**

Don't wait until sixth grade to participate. Students as young as kindergarten can get started, and the earlier you start the better chance you have of paying zero out of pocket for your child's Outdoor Lab experience.
