Karen Casey leads our 2nd session on Dec 11

Tuesdays@noon in December: A huge thank you to Karla Smith, who stepped in seamlessly when Martha Monkman was unable to lead her session. Wonderful comments from participants about how to set up your chart of accounts to match the information needed on the Schedule C. 

In our next session, Karen Casey shows us a new approach to "re-membering" our mission, values, and vision, letting go of what no longer serves our purpose as we get ready to discover new opportunities for our future. "Gains" and "losses" have new meaning, as we become more at ease with time. Karen partners with individuals, organizations and communities to focus on what matters, identify what gives life to assist shedding what no longer serves in order to create space for new possibilities.

Andrej Zommers is a mailing list guy. He is a member and he was a presenter in last month's direct marketing theme for the Tuesdays@noon workshop. He's going to be pulling some lists for OfficeXpats (at no charge; you can ask him for this too) to see if it makes sense for us to do a targeted postcard mailing. And the minimum cost for a list is only $100. Except that now Andrej has offered $20 off even that price for any new OfficeXpats member or any member who upgrades their membership!

What a cool idea, huh? It's a win-win to get your business out there with people who are going to be in your network and thus can vouch for you. In other words, selling between members can have a little higher trust because reputation is precious and word gets around fast, for better and for worse. If you are a member who would like to offer a discount to other members, or create an incentive for new membership the way that Andrej did, please let us know. While the business motivation for getting things done this month is ebbing quickly, the social component of our lives is on the rise. Filling in for the corporate parties we are no longer obligated to, the independent professionals of the Bainbridge coworking world are gathering tomorrow (Friday) evening for good food and revelry by choice. We will have tastings of herbal infused hard cider from Finn River Cidery, and the jam band that came together for the anniversary party is performing! It's for members, and members may invite whoever they please.
