We extend a very special "thank you" to Shirley Perry for doing the alterations on the winter drum line costumes, all of which arrived with legs that were way too long.
We'd like to once again thank everyone who assisted with our January Rummage Sale. Even unsold items went to great use, with the majority going to our very own Aliso Niguel High School Drama Department to use as stage props. A few pieces of leftover furniture were donated to a local organization called Mercy Warehouse, who provide food for over 1,000 people a week by selling donated items and using the profits to purchase food for needy families both locally and abroad (thanks to Rick Jones for carting our furniture donation to Mercy Warehouse). It's encouraging to see the contributions of our volunteers resonating beyond the confines of our needs and being used to help others.
And thank you for being a member of our Instrumental Music Booster organization!
We'd like to hear from you. If you have any suggestions as to how we can better serve you and your student, please drop us a line. We're always looking to improve our organization.
* On a personal note, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank my fellow Booster Board members and all of our Boosters for allowing me the privilege of acting as the ANHSIMB's VP of Communications and Fund Raising over the past two years. It's been a wonderful experience, an experience that I heartily recommend to anyone out there who wants to do something important for their own student and for the program at large. I look forward to the monthly newsletter continuing under a new byline, as we elect a new Board this month to fill positions being vacated by our departing "Class of 2015" members.
Thanks for staying engaged,
Mark Stenroos
