The latest release of our software is more than just a version update and as such we are starting over at 1.0 with our newly branded product, imaServe.
What is imaServe?
"What is imaServe?" you ask. Well, imaServe is the evolution of the same product that you have been using until now.It has two components
- imaServe Windows: The regular user interface for our product which is what you have been using in the desktop version 19.2.
- imaServe Web: A new web based interface for the EHR which is the new and exciting direction in which we are taking the entire application.
Does the migration to imaServe cost money?
The upgrade from the desktop version 19.2 to imaServe Windows is included in your subscriptions and service contracts. There is no charge for the upgrade.
There are some new fees though, that will go into effect with the new version related to the licensing of 3rd content and software as enumerated below:
- Database fee: We are upgrading all users to the latest version of the database from Faircom. There is a fee for this version. It is $1 per license per month.
- CPT License: The AMA which owns the CPT code list is now enforcing its copyright and demands royalty fee for using CPT codes in applications. The positive side is that we are able to legally distribute a full CPT list with the application. The cost is $2 per license per month.
Implementing imaServe web also has some fees associated with it. For more details please contact IMA.
When will imaServe be available?
