Updated and Revised Claim Adjustment and Remarks Codes for Denial Tool and Remittance Reports 

  

As part of the ongoing effort to keep the information in the IMA system up to date we are now releasing a refresh of the remittance Claim Adjustment (Denial) Reason Codes and the Remark Codes.

 

Both tables have been updated with the most recently published lists. Codes that were removed are still in the system for historical denial reports but the text "Removed Jan/2014" was added to their description. 
 
For active codes, every description has been reviewed for the purpose of making it comprehensible and to fit on a single  line.  Our goal was to allow you to use these descriptions to understand why you were denied.  

This update will be available in the next few days. Please contact the helpdesk if you want to schedule installation.
