Enhancements

Medicaid Eligibility Tool

Major changes and improvements have been made to this report to enhance accuracy and its ability to identify coverage issues. Details will be forthcoming in the webinar (as mentioned above)

New HCFA 1500 version (0212)

To print the new version, Go into System Administration, Billing Definitions, Insurance Plan Definitions, select the plan, and in the billing tab change the version to 0212.

You can read more about this change at: http://www.nucc.org/  Here is a summary of the change schedule

  • Until March 31, 2014: Dual use period during which payers may continue to receive and process paper claims submitted on the old 1500 Claim Form (version 08/05).
  • April 1, 2014: Payers receive and process paper claims submitted only on the revised 1500 Claim Form (version 02/12).

SED Monitoring tool

A new button/report called "SED Aging Out" was added. This feature will allow you to identify SED clients who are about to turn 19 or have already turned 19.  For these clients you will have to adjust their billing information to close out the SED status, close out the Medicaid expiration date, open up the Managed Medicaid effective date and get authorization if required.

Client Activity Analysis tool enhancement

This tool has been enhanced to allow you greater control to identify non clinical activities that should not be included. Any activity code set to Non Client as the Type of Activity in the Statistics tab of Activity code setup will not be included in this report. The report is located in Reports and Performance Tracking/Operations/Client Service Tracking.

Ad Hoc Reports

In the Activity report type you can now add a Special field called,"**EFF-BILL-ORDER**".  This field will show the effective billing order in place during the date of service.  This is a very useful tool for audits.

Case Load Summary report

There is now some flexibility to add columns to the client information such as Diagnosis.  Please contact us for information about customization options for this report.

Client Service Lookup

The CSV output can now be customized and columns with client data can be added. Please contact us for information about customization options for this report.

Language other than English (LOA) QA report

There is now a new report in the Quality Assurance section called LOE QA report.  This report can be used to match staff language skills with client language preferences for direct and collateral services and check if the U4 modifier was used when matching. This will only work if you maintain the client language preferences and the staff language skills. If you are interested please contact us for configuration.

OASAS modules for OWP and Buprenorphine billing

New modules for tracking and billing for Outpatient Withdrawal Program clients and clients who use Buprenorphine.

HCBS Waiver module updates

We have updated the HCBS Waiver module to incorporate some more of the ICC billing rules. Please contact us if you have interest in exploring this billing option for your agency.

Please contact the helpdesk@imasys.com if you have any questions about these changes.
