Welcome to December TEAM Talk....
|
Dear It has been a busy November with 20 new TEAM locations added to the network to whom we offer a warm welcome. The network has now just over 520 locations and TEAM Xchange is "knocking on the door" of having 1 million of fees available to split amongst the membership. TEAM attended the inaugural Recruitment Live last week in London which proved to be a popular event. There was a wealth of information to be gained from the fringe events and I would like to thank our TEAM speakers - Paul Chamberlain, Sophie Clarke, Julia Doherty, Paul Jacobs, Warren Kemp, Peter Lowman, Wendy McDougall and Simon Whitehead and to our Members that attended the in-house joint London and East of England TEAM meeting. Members travelled across several counties to join us and we had some in depth discussion on what the future might hold for the recruiter in 2015. Our next Profit Plus meeting will be held on Thursday 11th December 2014, open to business owners and senior managers only. This meeting will focus on comparing and preparing your business for 2015. I would like to remind all Members to book their intention to attend the TEAM Conference on Friday, 6th March 2015. This will be an exciting event with many new and varied workshops and with guest speakers looking at trends in the economy and future digital recruitment and marketing. There will be something for everyone whether business owner, manager or consultant. Finally I would like to wish you all a happy festive season with best wishes for a prosperous New Year. Best wishes, Liz Longman

In this blog we will explore the benefits of advertising on Google and how you can use it to get ahead of your competitors and revolutionise the way you source candidates online.

Wote Street Employment Bureau celebrate 25 years in business
On Friday 28th November, Wote Street Employment Bureau celebrated 25 years in business. They had many discussions on how to celebrate it. The winning idea was to pay homage to the 1980's and recreate a 1989 office. So, out came the electric typewriters and dictaphones and away went the email. Dressing up was always going to be on the agenda. They even had fake cigarettes and ash trays. Of course, in true yuppie style the bubbly was flowing.
