Presentation lead by, Joan Frye Williams, an internationally recognized designer of innovative library services and is well known as a savvy observer of emerging library issues and trends.

For more than 25 years, she has been a successful library consultant, planner, trainer and evaluator of library services, as well as a librarian, with an MLS from UC-Berkeley. She conducts workshops on future trends in library/information services, information technology, providing outstanding customer service, and identifying the right technologies for your library environment.

Her clients include state library agencies, architects, professional associations, and, of course, libraries of all sizes.

She is currently the head of a consulting firm specializing in the design, planning, management, and marketing of library/information science technology services based in Sacramento, California. Ms. Williams is affiliated with the American Library Association, California Library Association, Library and Information Technology Association, and the Special Libraries Association.
