Honoring the Dark, Waking the Light: An evening of Story and Myth
Port Townsend Library, 1220 Lawrence Street
Wednesday, Dec. 19, 7:00 p.m.
 
In this evening performance local storyteller Brian Rohr will engage the community in the ancient tradition of wintertime  myth-telling, share myth and story, celebrating the themes of darkness, light, creation and winter solstice.

This is an intergenerational event.

Library Storytime Holiday Schedule & Location Change
All Library storytimes will be on vacation December 21st - Jan. 7th.
  
Begining Tuesday, January 8th, Preschool Storytimes will be held outside the Mt. View Children's Library, same time and day (Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m.).

A Letter to My Future Self

It's that time of year again. You get to write a letter to your future self and I will put it in a file drawer. Exactly one year from today, I will mail it to you. For teens in grades 6-12.

Fiber Frenzy is open to all who work with fiber mediums. Our group includes knitters, stitchers, crocheters, spinners, weavers and more. Come join us for a relaxing evening.
Jefferson Clemente Courses for the Humanities

From early January through mid-June 

The Jefferson Clemente Course is an affiliate of the Clemente Course in the Humanities®, a nationally acclaimed, free, college-level course in the humanities for low income students.
  
The course is based on the belief that anyone, if given the opportunity and support, can acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to enrich and transform his or her life.

 

Clemente is accredited by Bard College and successful students receive transferrable college credits. All tuition, books, childcare and transportation costs as needed are provided to qualified students.
