As early as October, it is clear that Rhapsody students are achieving great things! New and returning students alike are progressing as musicians with the guidance of their instructors. While one-on-one instruction helps foster individual growth for students, why stop there? Group Lesson Week is an opportunity to bring together students in a class setting and create opportunities for your children to grow together. Be sure to sign up your child for our core classes for Group Lesson Week. You can sign up for as many specialty classes as you like! Check out all the upcoming events below.

Group Lesson Week #1
Group Lesson Week is for students enrolled in private/partner lessons, and it takes place five times throughout the year. Students have the opportunity to perform for their peers and learn about many interesting music topics. During Group Lesson Week, there are no private lessons. Go here to view the full brochure. If you are having trouble signing up online, give us a call in the office or send Chelsea an email.  We'd be happy to sign get you signed up.  
All students are required to sign up for a core class, and sign up for as many specialty classes as you like!

Faculty Recital: Halloween Masked Ball



Our second faculty recital of the year will be Friday, October 30 at 7 p.m.

Enjoy a variety of Halloween pieces to get you in the trick or treat spirit performed by our teachers. All faculty recitals are free and open to the public. Kids can wear their costumes to this recital. Be sure to come and support our teachers! 
Rhapsody Parent Week
 We would like to thank you for your support of the arts!
Join us the week of  October 19 for our Rhapsody Parents Week. We invite all parents to sit in on lessons and learn about music with your child and their teacher!
Beverages and refreshments will be provided. 

Sonatina Festival
Our 15th Annual Sonatina Festival will be held 
Saturday, November 7 at Rhapsody. This competition is open to residents of Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa.
son fest trophiesIt is sponsored by Billings Piano Gallery. Medals are awarded to the top performers in each age category. Students who receive the highest honors will be selected to perform in a winners' recital at the conclusion of the festival. Selected advanced students will also receive a cash scholarship from the Billings Piano Gallery and an invitation to perform at a Steinway Society event. We will have a Sonatina Festival Prep Recital on Friday, Oct 23rd at 7 p.m. E-mail Chelsea if your child is interested in performing.

We WILL have classes Oct 30th. Wear your costume and trick or treat at Rhapsody. Also come join us for the Masked Ball Faculty Recital that evening!
