Summer is finally here, and we are excited to begin our summer schedule this week! Summer is an excellent time to maintain the excellent progress students made over the school year, but it is also a great time to learn a new skill. Does your child love to draw or learn more about other musical genres? Read on for all we have to offer this summer as well as some upcoming musical events. Enjoy your summer, and make sure you do something creative every day!

Make Music Madison

Looking for a family-friendly music even this weekend? Check out Make Music Madison this Sunday, June 21. This event features over 300 free concerts throughout the Madison area. All concerts will take place outside, weather permitting. Go to the Make Music Madison website to see a full listing of all the concerts.

VACT's Summer Production: Shrek

Support our Rhapsody students and check out VACT's production of Shrek! Performances will be June 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27 at 7:30 p.m. and June 21 at 2 p.m. at the Verona Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $15 for regular admission and $10 for seniors, children, and students through high school. Go to vact.org for more information.
