Monday Mojo

What are you grateful for?

Mojo

It's been said that when you are grateful - truly grateful - for the things that happen in your life, you experience no fear. Think about it. If you're grateful for the good and bad things and everything in between, there's really nothing to be afraid of, right?

The good things are the good things and we enjoy them, certainly no reason to worry about good things happening to us. The bad things shape us and often times, good things happen out of the bad things.

We really want a job, but we don't get it. Then, we get another job and love it more than we thought we would.

We go to the doctor's office to get one thing taken care of and another issue is discovered.Because the issue is discovered early, we get it resolved before it's a big problem and go on enjoying our lives.

The fact of the matter is that we become who we are as people based upon the things that challenge us in life. Handling the bad times and bad things makes us stronger, more resourceful and better people...if we let it.

Here's your Monday Mojo.

Enjoy!

Principle #4 for selling your home for up to 18% more money - "Cooperation"

I can remember way back in elementary school there was a category on our report cards that read: "Works well with others." I'm not exactly sure how I graded out in that area years ago; but professional Realtors get graded in this category every day.

How you ask?

You will find that the majority of real estate  transactions in Richmond, Virginia  include two agents - one to represent the seller and one to represent the buyer. We call these "co-brokered" transactions and it is very important that we take this percentage into account when listing a home for sale.     ( read on @ talk2foss.com)

Energy efficient home sales on the rise..

You don't have to be "Kermit" to be "Green"..

McGraw Hill Construction says 20 percent of homes built last year were green, and that figure is slated to rise to between 29 percent and 38 percent by 2016.  Most large builders have made energy-efficient

home construction a standard practice, and federal tax credits for such components as insulation and geothermal heat pumps have helped green housing go mainstream.

Nexus Energy Homes COO Bruce McIntosh says green homes generally cost 5 to 10 percent more than conventional dwellings, but material and construction costs are on the decline.  Low-energy homes are gaining in popularity as a way to cut utility bills, address concerns about future energy costs, and become independent from the power grid.

Meet Pharoah!

Pharaoh Hi! My name is Pharaoh. I am four years old neutered male with a regal face and adorable personality. I love to look out the window and observe nature. But when I'm not watching birds and squirrels, I like to take naps on my cat stand and watch TV. I will chase a laser beam around on the floor if you have one of those. Some say I look like a little tiger with my stripes and BIG CAT face.. I am very friendly and if you let me sit on your lap I love to be petted please.
