Monday Mojo
The Joke's on You
Well, let's hope not. Today is April Fool's Day and my hope is that you made it through unscathed. If not, start planning your revenge for next year.
If you had any kind of fun as a child, then you were someone who really looked forward to the pranks and jokes people play on April Fool's Day.
It always seemed that the more sensitive the person who was pranked, the better the prank worked. The pranks ranged from the simple crank call and funny joke, to the complete rearrangement of someone's furniture or putting someone's entire bedroom set in their front yard, set up in the exact same way as it was in the home.
Really, there's no limit to your creativity on this silly "non-holiday" and believe it or not, April Fool's Day more than 150 years old.
Here's your Monday Mojo.
Enjoy!

Principle #3 of Selling Your Home - "Exposure"
Simply put the principle of exposure determines how we find and attract the buyer who is willing to pay the highest price for your home. It is a simple principle; but a complicated process. Agents and even some home owners have their own idea(s) and preconceived notions of where a home should be promoted or marketed to find buyers. For the most part these notions are based on previous experience or anecdotal evidence rather than actual statistics. Make no mistake there is no substitute for tracking where buyers come from and that is what we do to make the most of our marketing dollars. According to statistics, 90%, of home buyers search the internet to find a home. Naturally professional real estate teams make the most of these statistics to pour marketing dollars into the most popular on line sites for prospective buyers. These sites can deliver literally hundreds of prospective buyers monthly. Most of these prospects aren't ready to do something today; but there are are always instances where a buyer is ready. The buyer may even be a fit for one of the agent's current properties. ( read on @ talk2foss.com )

Buyer Demand Soars, But Where Are the Houses?
Buyer demand is rapidly rising, but the housing market is realizing they may not have the inventory to meet it.
"The housing turnaround seems to have caught almost everyone in the business by surprise," The New York Times reports. "As desirable as the long-awaited improvement may be, the unusually low level of homes for sale is creating widespread problems for buyers and sellers alike, leading to bidding wars and bubble-like price jumps in places that not long ago were suffering from major declines."
After years of not building, homebuilders are scrambling to ramp up production to meet demand, but they're facing delays from the availability of lots, scarcity of qualified labor, and obtaining permits.
