Every year RPI holds a business plan competition for both undergrad and graduate students. As a staple of Tech Valley, RPI is a resource for some of the brightest minds and entrepreneurial programs we have to offer, and the business plan competition is always an exciting event. RPI recently announced the winners of the competition, including graduate student James Peterson who has developed a plan to create light fixtures that also serve as an environmental disinfection system for settings such as hospitals. His venture is called VITAL VIO.
