Real People, Real Reviews

"Kristi 's greatest strength as a realtor is she understood our "buying personality." She has a great knowledge of the history of properties in the Lake Minnetonka area and always kept us up to date on any new opportunities and market trends. But she also allowed us to keep our own timeline, do our own research and learn about the area.without feeling any pressure. She was always extremely responsive and ultimately helped us close on a property we love! She also gave us good advice about the true value of our existing home and what it needed to be ready to list . she provided fantastic marketing methods and materials and helped us find a great buyer. We would recommend Kristi to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the Lake Minnetonka area."

A Flood of Listings Coming to the Market?
We have previously talked about the diminishing supply of housing inventory and how it is impacting the real estate market. The situation might be about to change dramatically according to a recent survey by Lending Tree.
The survey revealed three interesting findings. Of those surveyed:
1.63% have a positive outlook on the economy this year 2.69% have a positive outlook on housing this year 3.71% said they are considering selling their home this year
While the first two findings are good news, the third was rather amazing.

It May Be Miserably Cold Out, but Now's The Time to Put Your House on the Market By Mike Brinkley
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - Our bone-chilling winter has kept people from getting out and doing many things they otherwise would've done. That apparently includes shopping for a home.
Sales in the 13-county region were down 13 percent in January compared to the year before.
As discouraging as that sounds to sellers, experts say right now is the time to put your house on the market.
Jacque Sech is trying. After 20 years in the home she loves on Cleveland Street Northeast, she's ready for a downtown condo.
The weather was a factor.
"Oh yeah," she said. "I've had it. It's time to be done with the yard work."
With the snow piled high in the back yard right now, you can't see her nice patio and garden, but she's hoping buyers will step in to see the upgrades she's added over the years.
