PROFIBUS & PROFINET Conference - June 2015

Welcome to our 20th Anniversary Conference
You are warmly invited to the next UK Conference, to be held on 23-24 June 2015 at The Stratford Manor Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon.
 
The two-day conference is designed for engineers, managers and indeed anyone concerned with the real issues of implementing fieldbus and/or industrial Ethernet technologies. The programme will contain a mixture of presentations, demonstrations and hands-on practical sessions that are suitable for a wide variety of experience; from first-time users to those with extensive experience with working systems. It will cover latest developments in PROFIBUS and PROFINET technology for factory and process automation including safety, motion control, wireless implementations and integration with the Internet and MES. The event will concentrate on the real issues of implementation, maintenance and management of PROFIBUS and PROFINET systems.

Manchester, July 2

 

The PROFIBUS Group in association with PROFIBUS Nutzerorganisation e.V. (PNO) warmly invites developers of field devices with a PROFINET interface to attend this free-to-attend training course covering the PROFINET basics (neighborhood detection, fast start up, redundancy...), the unsynchronized and synchronized communication as well as performance upgrade.

 

The presenter, Joerg Bullerschen, will explain the development kit in detail, the software user interface and the configuration of field devices.

Certified PROFIBUS training

The next Certified PROFIBUS Installer course is on 17 June 2014, followed by Commissioning and Maintenance on 18 June. 

 

The next Certified PROFIBUS Engineer Course on 24-26 September is for for Certified Installers wishing to upgrade their qualifications to Engineer level. There's plenty of opportunity to obtain the Certified Installer qualification before this date, with courses set for June, July and mid September

 

These scheduled courses are presented at our PROFIBUS International Competence Centre at Manchester Metropolitan University.  MMU's certified training to Engineer level covers the Certified PROFIBUS Installer, the Commissioning & Maintenance module and finally the Certified PROFIBUS Engineer Course. 

 

Each course can be taken individually or as part of the full set, depending on the candidates' existing qualifications and ability. Click on any of the underlined links above for more details of each course.
