The next Certified PROFIBUS Installer course is on the 21st October, followed by Commissioning and Maintenance on the 22nd. The next Certified PROFIBUS Engineer Course is October 7 - 9. for those who have already attained their Certified PROFIBUS Installer & Commissioning and Maintenance qualifications. This course is also suitable for previously certified engineers seeking a Refresher and up-dated certificate. There is also a Certified PROFIBUS Engineer course November 25-27 for those wishing to gain the qualification following the Installer course in October. MMU's Certified PROFIBUS Training to Engineer Level covers the Certified PROFIBUS Installer, the Commissioning & Maintenance module and finally the Certified PROFIBUS Engineer Course. Each course can be taken individually or as part of the full set, depending on the candidates' existing qualifications and ability. The PROFIBUS Group will be supporting the newly-launched Sensors & Instrumentation show where we will be presenting a Workshop at 3.00pm on the 25th.

Certified OPC Training comes to London
The OPC Foundation is a global automation organization having close links with PI. For example, the FDI (Field Device Integration) initiative in which PI plays a leading role utilises the advanced features of the Unified Architecture (UA) technology of OPC.
OPCTI offers excellent practical OPC training leading to Certified OPC Professional (COP) accreditation. They've arranged a full week of training in London from 11 to 15 November. What's more, we've negotiated special discount terms for readers of this newsletter, with additional discount for members of The PROFIBUS Group.

PROFIsafe Web Based Training
This free of charge web-based training introduces users to the basics of safety technology. Examples are used to familiarize users with the functional principles of safety-related systems (fail-safe systems). Afterwards, the web-based training presents the functional principal and safety mechanisms of PROFIsafe.
