Giving Thanks

As we get ready to celebrate  Thanksgiving, it gives us the perfect opportunity to teach our children the character quality of thankfulness. During the month of November, all recreational classes will take a brief moment each week to discuss what thankfulness is and what we can be thankful for. Encourage your child to complete a thankfulness handout and turn it into the front desk so we can decorate our walls.  Let's make thanksgiving a way of life, not just a one-day event!  Click Here for our newsletter.

Acrobatic Gymnastics Team

October was a very busy month for Team ATA!  Pre Team launched with the largest group of athletes we have ever had!!  They have been very busy learning the "Acro Ropes"!  We are excited to have women's pairs, women's groups and mixed pairs this season!  Not only is this a larger Pre Team, but many of the athletes are in advanced levels so we are excited to see all they will learn and accomplish this season!

More than sun shined in Puerto Rico earlier this month when our Junior National Team members, Kaylee Witana, Romina Gupta and Cheyenna Jones, took to the competition floor in the first ever Pan American Championships in Cagua, PR.  They competed strongly alongside Team USA and had a beautiful dynamic routine!  Other competitors included Puerto Rico, Brazil and Mexico!

A special regional athlete clinic was held this past weekend in Livermore, CA, hosted by West Coast Training Center.  All ATA athletes levels 5 to Elite participated in the event that played host to more than half a dozen clubs and around 150 athletes!  Clinicians from Texas, Missouri and California came to share their expertise with the athletes!  There were sessions on dance and tumbling as well as balance and dynamic pair and group skill work.  It was a terrific time of training and bonding for all the participants!
Have a Great Day!
