Holiday Greetings from CAC!
Dear Friends of CAC, Thank you for helping many local families in need celebrate the holidays in the warmth of their homes this year. Your financial contributions help families experiencing financial crisis pay rent and utility bills. Your donations of food, clothing, back packs and school supplies, and holiday gifts help families throughout the year. Thanks to your support, CAC helped 700 local families this year remain in their Homes for the Holidays and assisted 5,000 individuals overall. Your generosity inspires us! We wish you a wonderful holiday season with family and friends. In Service, Tamara Carrera Executive Director

Holiday Food Boxes Help Families
More than 500 holiday food boxes were distributed to local families in November and December! The Shumard Foundation donated the food and gathered friends and family to pack the boxes. Volunteers helped distribute the boxes to families along with grocery store gifts cards. The food and gift cards were provided to families who have experienced financial difficulties this year. Thanks to North Springs United Methodist for their assistance with the holiday food distribution!

St. John Hosts CAC Families
St. John United Methodist Church, one of CAC's member congregations, for the second year treated families from CAC's Adopt-a-Family program to a special evening. St. John UMC members adopted 50 children for holiday gifts, and those families were invited to the church for a dinner, live nativity scene, crafts for kids and a visit with Santa! The church also provided a "holiday shop" where children selected small gifts for free for their parents and had them wrapped! Thank you St. John UMC!
