Give Families Hope on Georgia Gives Day!
Dear CAC Supporters,
During this season of thanks many have a lot to be grateful for.  Please know that CAC is grateful for you. Your support helps local families who are facing crisis situations and have nowhere else to turn. You help them stay in their homes, you help them feed their families, but you also do more:  You give struggling families and individuals HOPE.

You give families hope that tomorrow will be a better day. Because you care enough to help with rent and food, you allow families to focus on finding work and improving their situations. CAC families are grateful for your generosity and grateful for neighbors who care.

Tomorrow, Thursday, November 13 is Georgia Gives Day, a day when charitable donors such as yourself all across our great state support their favorite charities that make a difference in their communities.  We invite you to please consider making  your year-end contribution to CAC tomorrow, on Georgia Gives Day!
Family Suffering Job Losses Turns to CAC
A local mother of two has had a rough couple of years. She lost her job and the family became homeless. A program provided shelter and job training and she had resumed supporting her family. When she fell behind on high utility bills, CAC helped with financial assistance, food, clothing and referrals. But now following another job loss the mother has turned to CAC a second time for help as she seeks employment once again. CAC is doing as much as possible to help this family stay in their home during their time of crisis. Your donations can help this family and many others like it in our community.
Help Families Have a Happier Holiday Season!
You can help local families in need have a happier holiday season! Through CAC Holiday Programs you can give food and gifts they otherwise may go without. Your donations give an extra bit of help to local families who have come to CAC during the past year seeking assistance. These CAC families greatly appreciate your assistance during their times of need.

 Vintage Affair tops $100,000 Again!
The 12th annual Vintage Affair topped $100,000 for the 4th year in a row, raising $106,000 for CAC! Close to 340 guests attended the October 18 restaurant sampling, wine tasting and auction event at Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church in Sandy Springs. The benefit was supported by many local businesses and residents who sponsored, donated food, wine and auction items, served on the host committee and volunteered their time. Proceeds go toward CAC programs that help prevent homelessness and hunger in the Dunwoody and Sandy Springs communities. CAC is helping 2,000 local families in need this year. -- View the 2014 Vintage Affair Photo Gallery! --

Newell Rubbermaid Gives Snack Bags

Employees of Newell Rubbermaid headquarters in Sandy Springs assembled and decorated 250 snack bags for CAC as part of their Global Service Day in October, coordinated with the United Way. The bags were donated to CAC to distribute to families with children. CAC is pleased to receive support from the United Way of Greater Atlanta and many area companies that they work with.
