Response Fills Pantry
Graphic Packaging made a cash donation for food.
CAC issued an emergency call for food in September when the pantry was almost bare and families were being turned away. The response from the community was incredible, from getting the word out, to the outpouring of donations of food and financial support. Individuals, businesses, schools, congregations and civic groups responded to provide for their neighbors in need. Thank you everyone for caring enough to help! Also, it was fortunate that Temple Sinai already had a High Holy Days food drive underway for CAC in September which resulted in an amazing 15,000 pounds of food that was delivered and shelved by a team of UPS volunteers. That, combined with all of the other donations filled the pantry. The food is enough to last more than a month.

A Little Help Goes a Long Way
A mother of 2 children with her own business came to CAC for help when business was slow. A little bit of support from CAC helped her feed her family and stay in her home during a brief time when money was tight until her business picked up again. She later sent a thank you note:

Dear CAC,

Thank you for always being there during our most pressing times. The book bags, food and clothing has helped me out tremendously. We truly appreciate and are blessed to have you all in our lives! Thanks for everything!

Every little bit that is donated to CAC, whether it's food, clothing or money, is used to help families like this every day. Thank you for your donations!
