Congregations Hold Big Food Drives

Many of CAC's 30 member congregations hold at least one large food drive per year for CAC to give to neighbors in need via the Food Pantry. CAC is grateful for two very large, annual food drives by St. John United Methodist Church and North Atlanta Church of Christ in April. St. John recently undertook Project Feed 5000, their annual Lenten food drive. The drive resulted in 140 pre-packed boxes of food, each containing enough food to feed a family of four for several days. North Atlanta Church of Christ holds two large food drives for CAC during the year and collects food continuously making monthly donations to the pantry. Their March food drive resulted in more than 800 bags of food that was delivered and stocked by the congregation's young adult class.
