City Dance Competition - June 1st - Come to Curie High School to support Chase Park's teen lyrical and modern dance team as they compete against other dancers from throughout the Chicago Park District.
Ravenswood Community Music Spring Recital - June 1st, 3:00pm - Chase Park music students have been hard at work all spring learning new selections. Come hear them play at this semi-annual performance. Tickets are $3 and proceeds will help to pay for repairs to the Chase Park piano.
Chase Park Yard Sale - June 2nd, 9:00am-2:00pm - Clean out your house or pick up some new treasures at Chase Park's annual neighborhood yard sale. Table rental is $20. This event will take place rain or shine & will be moved indoors to the field house in the case of inclement weather. Email [email protected] for more information.
Summer Concert - June 27th, 6:30pm - Celebrate the beginning of summer with a free concert at Chase Park featuring Mixed Company Band!
Movie in the Park: Grease - June 30th, 8:00pm - Bring the family out to Chase Park for this free outdoor screening of Grease, starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John!
July CPAC Meeting - July 10th, 7pm - Join CPAC in discussing upcoming events and park improvements at our monthly meeting.

Chase Park Pool Will Open June 21st
The outdoor pool at Chase Park will open for the summer 2013 season on June 21st! The weather is already heating up, so plan to stop by Chase Park to cool off. The pool schedule will be available in person at Chase park, at the Chicago Park District website, and on CPAC's website.

Night Out in the Parks
This summer, the Chicago Park District invites you to join them for Night Out in the Parks and enjoy world-class cultural programming right in your own backyard. From movies to concerts to a variety of performances, there is no need to travel far since they'll be bringing the action to you. Many events are offered with free admission. These events will include a free concert at Chase Park featuring Mixed Company Band on June 27th, a free outdoor screening of Annie on July 17th, and a Summer Fun Day including face painting, games, and more on August 3rd. Night Out in the Parks will also feature a series of concerts at Chase Park's satellite playlots: Aster, Broncho Billy, and Gooseberry. Don't miss it!

New Lights Enrich Chase's Tennis Courts
Additional lighting was installed to our tennis courts as part of the AT&T Improvement Project at Chase Park. Thank you to AT&T for maximizing our tennis players' expeirence by making the lighting even better on our tennis courts. Chase Park's courts are the best kept secret in town! |

Thank You from Dream Big's Spring Musical
A big thank you to everyone who joined Chase Park and Dream Big Performing Arts Workshop for their K-5 Spring Musical, "It's a Jungle out There!" Both shows were packed, so we're especially grateful to the people who were willing to stand in order to see the show. All ticket proceeds will benefit improvements to the Chase Park theater and drama programming, and we're looking forward to starting these off with the installation of a new lighting system!

Friends of the Parks' Party for Parks
The Ivy League Baseball Club boasts the only 5-level indoor/outdoor facility of all the Wrigley rooftops. Watch the game from the top, at the center of right field.
Proceeds benefit Chicago Plays! Playground Renovation Program, a new initiative to replace 300 playgrounds over the next 5 years across the City of Chicago. Thirty-five playgrounds will be rebuilt in 2013.
Participation in this fundraising event means new, safer playgrounds for Chicago's children.

Aster Playlot to Be Renovated through Chicago Plays!
CPAC is excited to announce that Aster Playlot, one of Chase Park's satellite playlots, has been selected by Friends of the Parks and the Chicago Park District for the Chicago Plays! Playground Renovation Program. Aster will be one of the first playgrounds to be built in the first year of the Chicago Plays! program.
CPAC and Chase Park will be working with Friends of the Parks and the Chicago Park District over the coming months to determine construction dates and potential playground designs. The community will have the opportunity to select playground equipment based on the provided designs. We're thrilled to have been selected for this grant program and to see this new playground become a reality!

Design Dance is also excited to be teaming up with Source 4 this summer! During six weeks throughout this coming summer, Source 4 Chicago will offer all day week-long programming. Throughout each enriching week, your child will be immersed in a collaborative environment of learning and fun. Each day, campers will rotate through classes in drama, dance, foreign language, and cognitive skill-building through game play. This year, in addition to specialized programming offered by Design Dance, Dream Big Performing Arts Workshop, Little Linguists Academy and Sharp as a Tack, each week we will feature one of our partner programs including Yoga Bash, Mad Science, Connelly's Academy for Tae Kwon Do, Robot City Workshop, We Got Game and CircEsteem!
