2-1-1 Connecticut is one of a select group of contact centers participating in the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Flu on Call project.

In the event of a flu outbreak, a special flu hotline will be activated, with calls routed to participating contact centers. 2-1-1 will play a role in improving access to antiviral prescriptions, sharing accurate information about symptoms and treatment, and providing updated information to caregivers and the general public.

The CDC recommends annual flu vaccines for anyone aged 6 months and older. To find a flu vaccine in your area, visit the HealthMap website or dial 2-1-1.
