Announcing MyPlaceCT.org

Connecticut's Department of Social Services is in the midst of launching a strategic plan to ensure accessibility to many long-term care resources that help older adults and those with disabilities remain in their homes. Part of that plan has been the development of MyPlaceCT.org, an interactive website designed to provide information on long-term care resources including health and transportation services, in-home care resources and more. For more information, visit www.myplacect.org.

Summer Food Sites Open!

To ensure that children have access to free, nutritious meals during the summer months, there are over 400 summer food sites now open around the state. These sites typically serve over 35,000 children up to age 17 each summer. The goal is to increase that number since there are over 150,000 children eligible for free and reduced meals during the school year. To find a summer food site, dial 2-1-1 or visit the End Hunger CT! Summer Food Location Finder.
