Greetings Open Door Art Studio Fans!

The summer of 2013 has been a whirlwind of art openings and stunning exhibitions! We are so proud of our artists and their amazing accomplishments. Fortunately, the fun isn't over, even though summer is winding down. We have three more exhibitions planned for Open Door's gallery in 2013. Next up, is No Objections. It opens on August 10th and is sure to impress. Read on to learn about this exhibition and more!

FEATURED ARTIST
Jessica Bickley

Jessica Bickley is a kind-hearted woman with a unique, artistic flair. Animals hold a special place in her heart, especially dogs. Her whole face lights up when she sees one. One of her first questions for a new friend is whether or not they have a dog or any other animal. It seems only natural that the majority of her illustrations are of small creatures. Her

style makes the most of a few lines and her imagery is very stylized and graphic. When color is added, this imagery creates bold, bright paintings. Jessica is very close with her family and is a proud aunt of several young kids. She loves the company of others and hanging out with friends is her favorite activity. Aside from making art, she also enjoys horseback riding and watching movies. Jessica loves the color yellow, which is just as bright as her personality. Her painting in the banner will be featured during the No Objections exhibition and her lovely portrait of her family and their home is all ready for the November Open House exhibition, HOME
