Adding Value to Your Parts
Tapping

4 Station Tapping Unit
Tap Size: M2.6-M8 (#4~5/16)
Max Mtl: 0.125" (3.2mm)
Tap Speed: 4-7 secs/tap |
By Don Angel-Applications Engineer
Issue: You are performing secondary operations on your parts to tap holes or add pemserts.
Solution: Our machines can be supplied with an external four or eight-head tapping station. These units allow roll or cutting type taps with auto lubrication and tap breakage sensors.
Available from d/k technologies and Wilson Tool is an in-turret tapping tool. It uses roll type taps. The tapping units are durable, only basic maintenance is required and taps are easily replaced. Customers interested in this tapping tool should contact d/k technologies or Wilson Tool to review your application.
Use your turret punch press to tap holes faster, eliminate additional parts handling and reduce opportunities for parts damage. |
