Check the inbox in early May for the Historic Half e-Card. All runners must show the e-Card at the Healthy Lifestyle Expo on a smartphone screen or present a printed version to receive the official bib with timing device, technical competitor shirt and event program. If unable to attend the Expo, runners may have their materials picked up by another individual, but must follow Proxy Pick-up directions on the e-Card.

Expo & Conference Center (2371 Carl D. Silver Parkway) showcases health, food and fitness with featured exhibits from Mary Washington Healthcare, Pohanka Nissan, Navy Federal Credit Union, Dole, Select Physical Therapy, First Command and GEICO. Guests may also become certified in Community CPR with the Red Cross. The free, open-to-all Expo will be held Fri., May 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Sat., May 14 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.   
On event morning parking will be available in Central Park for half marathoners and in designated lots adjacent to the Semper 5ive start line. There will be no pre-event shuttle service to the 5ive start. Post-run shuttles will return 5ive-mile runners to the designated parking location. Spectators can shuttle from Central Park to downtown Fredericksburg on Mile 7 of the Marine Corps Historic Half course throughout event morning. 
On Saturday, May 14, a free trolley shuttle will run from the Healthy Lifestyle Expo to three different Downtown locations from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. The shuttle will stop at the William Street side of Hurkamp Park, across from the Fredericksburg Visitor Center on Caroline Street and at 925 Caroline St., across from Goolrick's Modern Pharmacy, home of the country's longest continuously-run soda fountain. 
Runners will pass through the wear blue Mile along Mile 8. This powerful installation includes American flag display and signs featuring faces of fallen service members from Iraq and Afghanistan. Located just across the street from the start and finish of the Historic Half, VA Runner, the Fredericksburg-area running specialty store, encourages all Historic Half Weekend runners earn "Distinguished" status. Runners can earn the limited edition Distinguished Participation medal by completing either the Historic Half or Semper 5ive on May 15, in addition to Run Amuck (June 4), the Quantico 12K (Aug. 20) and Turkey Trot 10K (Nov. 19). Distinguished Participation medals will be presented at the Turkey Trot in November.  
Return to Fredericksburg from May 20 to 22 to enjoy the 30th Annual Fredericksburg Greek Festival. Just show your Historic Half finisher medal or bib to be eligible for a 10 percent discount on food and soft drinks. Held at the Nativity of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church (12326 Spotswood Furnace Road in Fredericksburg). Festival admission is free.
