Enter the Lottery between March 24-30. No charges for registration or training items will be incurred until a runner is officially registered when the MCM announces the field. Limited Active Duty registration is open between March 2-11. Deferment re-registration and MCM Runners Club may register between March 13-20. Runners who deferred to the 2016 MCM must follow registration instructions that will be emailed in February.

By participating in, and completing, the Marine Corps 17.75K on April 2, 2016, runners will earn a guaranteed entry in the 41st MCM to be held on Oct. 30, 2016. The 17.75K takes place along the rolling hills of Prince William Forest Park, not too far from Marine Corps Base Quantico. The distance (11.03 miles) commemorates the year the Marine Corps was founded. Grab one of the highly sought after 17.75K spots when registration opens on February 17 at noon.

The 2016 MCM Event Series includes Run Amuck, the mud and obstacle challenge, on June 4; the Quantico Tri, a sprint distance event with a swim in the Potomac, on August 20; the new Quantico 12K, a perfectly timed training run for the MCM, also on August 20; and the Turkey Trot 10K on November 19.
