The unparalleled energy.  The uncompromising motivation.  The ideal scenery.  The unrelenting support.  The medal to top all medals, and the chance to Rock the Mock.  Why wouldn't you want to be a part of the landmark 40th Marine Corps Marathon?  Registration for the 40th MCM will be conducted through online lottery opening on Friday, March 13 at noon Eastern. The MCM Lottery will remain open for 10 days, concluding on Monday, March 23 at noon eastern. As part of the registration process, runners will be requested to set up a MCM registration account

The 40th MCM will be held on Sunday, Oct. 25 in Arlington, VA and throughout the nation's capital.

The 2015 registration costs $125 plus a processing fee.  While completing the lottery registration form, runners may purchase a discounted photo package from MarathonFoto; bold "With Purpose" and "Mission Focus" MCM training apparel by Brooks; online training program from runcoach; or tickets to the Carbo Dining In, pre-event pasta dinner to be held on Saturday, Oct. 24 at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill, the MCM headquarters hotel.

No charges for registration or training items will be incurred until a runner is officially registered.  Runners may notice a $1 verification check on their credit card accounts as part of the lottery registration process.  This doesn't represent actual charge but simply serves to verify the account information.  Notification emails will be sent throughout the day on Wednesday, March 25.

Entries cannot be withdrawn after selection, nor can they be refunded. However, runners may shift an entry to another interested party once the MCM Transfer Program opens in June.

Those who register for the MCM Lottery but are not selected may still participate in the MCM by affiliating with one of the MCM Charity Partners, beginning in April.

A link to the 17.75K registration form will be available on the MCM Facebook page beginning at noon, in addition to multiple location on the MCM website.
