Mark your calendar for
June 13. That's when wild runners take to the hills and trails of Quantico to Run Amuck, the MCM's messiest mud and obstacle event featuring four miles of arduous obstacles and plenty of mud. Run Amuck and the scaled down two-mile version of the course, Mini Run Amuck, is appropriately wild fun for rowdy runners (age 8 and up), outrageous athletes and fun-loving families. Run Amuck participants attack the mud trench, lumber through a low crawl and indulge in a super sloppy mud pit, just three of more than 20 challenges that await participants along the hideously hilly course tucked into the wooden terrain of Marine Corps Base Quantico. Registration begins on April 8.

It's the hottest ticket in town. The run-to-register known as the Marine Corps 17.75K on March 28 grants every finisher a guaranteed spot in the 2015 Marine Corps Marathon. The 17.75K commemorates the year the Marine Corps was founded and equates to an 11.03 mile run through hilly Prince William Forest Park, located not too far from Marine Corps Base Quantico. The event sells out quickly as runners pursue the coveted Access Granted pass. Registration opens at noon eastern on March 11.

More than a half million runners have earned the title of MCM finisher since the inaugural running in 1976. Known as "The People's Marathon," the MCM celebrates four decades of accomplishments in 2015 by welcoming the motivated; the inspired; the healing; the healthy; civilians, retired, reserve, active and former service members; military families; and first timers. Enter the Lottery between March 13 and March 23. No charges for registration or training items will be incurred until a runner is officially registered when the MCM announces the field on March 25. Limited, discounted Active Duty and Reserve registration begins on February 23.

Register for the Historic Half and display your determination by purchasing a Historic Half "Spirited" technical training shirt.  The kelly green colored shirt features originally designed artwork especially for the Historic Half.  Registration for the 2015 Quantico Triathlon to be held on
