Lynmar Brock, Jr: Must Thee Fight

Mr. Brock is a Quaker who can trace his origins back to the time of William Penn in 1682. His novels are inspired both by his Quaker ancestry and his naval service.  He will be speaking about his latest novel, Must Thee Fight, a lively tale of a young Quaker boy growing up during the events of the American Revolution. He is torn by his religion of peace and his desire to fight for his country against the British. He fights in the Battle of Brandywine, finding, particularly with the death of his best friend and cousin that there is no glory in kiling.

* Participants are encouraged to bring copies of Mr. Brock's book so he can autograph it after the program

This event is for all fitness levels, so whether you are a stroller, a speed walker or runner, you are welcome to join us. The entire walk is 3.35 miles. For those who are interested in a shorter distance, there are areas along the span of the bridge for turning around.
