We're less than two weeks away from your arrival at the 2015 U.S. Masters Swimming Summer Nationals in Geneva at the SPIRE Institute. The team from SPIRE and the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission are eagerly awaiting your arrival. With just under 1,000 swimmers registered, this year's meet promises to be a fun and competitive event for all involved. We hope this email helps you better prepare for your stay in Northeast Ohio.

WHERE TO FIND INFORMATION
|
The USMS website is the location for all official information regarding the 2015 USMS Summer Nationals. At usms.org you'll find the complete meet schedule and we'll post the latest results. Remember to tell your friends, family, and teammates that the complete schedule, results, and live streaming will be available at usms.org.

The meet start time will be at 8 a.m. on all mornings. Warm-up in the competition pool will be from 6:30 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. each day. Complete warm-up information is available on the meet information page.

 Positive check-in is required for all events 200 meters and longer. Check-in may be done in person at the registration area or at usms.org according to the following schedule:

Coaches or teammates may check in online or in person at the registration area for those swimmers whose travel plans do not permit check-in by the deadlines. Failure to check in will result in the swimmer being scratched from the event and the swimmer will not be permitted to swim that event at another time.

Massage services will be available on deck for swimmers Thursday, Aug. 6, through Sunday, Aug. 9, from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. North Coast Massage & Bodywork will be on deck providing massages for $1/minute. Sign up sheets will be posted on the pool deck and interested swimmers may sign up to reserve a space.

If you purchased a Gold Medal Sponsorship, you'll receive a hospitality pass for the entire meet. Gold Medal Sponsorship hospitality passes can be picked up onsite when you check in. Please show your pass each time you enter the hospitality room, which will be located directly inside the main entrance.
Breakfast will be available from 6 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Thursday through Sunday, and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Various snacks and beverages will also be available in this room throughout the day.
If you did not purchase a Gold Medal Sponsorship, the SPIRE Fuel Cafeteria will be open to accommodate your food and beverage needs. SPIRE Fuel serves a variety of healthy options for breakfast and lunch to fuel you through the meet. SPIRE Fuel will be open each day from 6 a.m. until the end of the competition.
Water filling stations will be available both on and off deck. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle to fill up at these stations. If you've purchased a Gold Medal Sponsorship, you'll receive a complimentary water bottle.

 You don't want to miss out on this year's social event: On Saturday, Aug. 8, the best of northeast Ohio's wine country will be on hand to sample their wines. Tickets are only $35 and can be purchased at the solutions desk.
- No outside food or beverage is permitted inside the SPIRE Institute. SPIRE Institute offers a full-service, healthy foods option food court just off the pool deck called SPIRE Fuel. This expansive food court features a soup and salad bar, grill station, pizza and pasta area, breakfast selection, and culinary theater.
- Signage will be hung by facility staff. Please give all signage to facility lifeguards.
- Are your friends or family members interested in volunteering at the meet? Lane timers and deck marshals are needed throughout the weekend to ensure the success of the event. Please sign up online or contact Matt Sajna with questions.
