Top coaches gather in Nashville to further skills
Attendees at first national coaches clinic
Top Masters coaches from around the country convened on Nashville, Tenn., June 5-7 for the first biannual National Coaches Cllinic, hosted by USMS's Coaches Committee. The three-day weekend included several stroke technique workshops and classroom presentations on topics relative to the role of a Masters coach. Participants had a great time, made some new networking connections, and learned how to do their jobs better. Will you join us in 2017?

Seen on Our Facebook Page
Charlotte Sanddal kicked up quite a fuss on our Facebook page recently with the announcement that the 92-year-old had successfully completed the 1650 (with flip turns no less!) at the Montana State Masters meet held in Polson, Mt., in late May. Sanddal completed the race in just under an hour and received a standing ovation. At the conclusion of the meet, she also received the Montana LMSC's annual Inspiration Award for her aquatic endeavors over the last several years. Of her feat, Donald F. Spingler writes, "This gives us all hope for many more years of athletic challenges ahead." Indeed, it does. See what else they're saying, and join the conversation!
